On March 2nd, 2023, a historic day for Utah's that will be felt for many generations to come, the Utah Legislature passed S.B. 31 in a dramatic vote officially declaring a new flag for Utah! This came nearly two years to the day that S.B. 48 passed. which made our 125th Anniversary Commemorative Flag official as well.

This was a collective effort that took many individuals and groups, including our Organization since 2018, many years to complete and realize. From an initially small idea that began with our Founder. Richard Martin, through to this second"V-Day" on March 2nd, 2023, this has been an incredibly rewarding process that has seen an entire state weigh in on their thoughts and ideas for Utah and the future of our flag with how we want to represent ourselves moving forward. Without your continued support and interest in this cause that went beyond the Commemorative flag, this likely never would have become a reality and we share in this victory with you.

Senator Dan McCay deserves special recognition as well for his Herculean efforts to rally Legislators to the cause as well as the people of Utah, as without his belief and leadership in this cause we would never have achieved the victory we did today.
